At Fenêtres Concept, you can choose from a variety of Energy Star certified products that meet the strictest technical specifications in the area of energy efficiency. These products will help you save money on your utility bills by reducing your annual energy consumption.

This requires several different steps.

To measure a window properly, you must first take measurements outside of the frame, from side to side and from top to bottom, repeating the process in at least two different places for a total of three horizontal and three vertical measurements (e.g. left, center and right and top, center and bottom). You will then use the shortest measurement in each direction, making sure to allow for 6 mm of clearance on each side of the window (for fitting and insulation).

You will also need to ensure that the exterior and interior measurements coincide. When taking the interior measurements, you must remove the casing in order to expose the frame. If the exterior measurements are greater than the interior ones, you’ll need to order a window with molding to compensate for the variance.
