Established in 1967, Portes et Fenêtres Verdun is a Quebec company that started modestly in Verdun. With the company’s good reputation, combined with a team of dedicated, experienced leaders, it continued to established its place in the market. In the early 80s, the company partnered with engineers and visited factories in Japan with the goal of opening the first modern steel door assembly factory in Québec. By adding this string to its bow, the company became a retailer manufacturer, giving it a step ahead over the other retailers in the industry. In 2000, the company diversified its operations and expanded its offering. With expertise in the area of custom, the brand introduced its kitchen offering under the Cuisines Verdun banner, a turnkey service for kitchen and bathroom projects.
Later, Portes et Fenêtres Verdun enjoyed impressive growth, particularly because of the opening of franchised stores. Always concerned about adapting to the growing market demand, the company enjoys today 10 locations in the greater metropolitan region and plans to continue to expand in the years to come.
